The ABC and Q’s of making art

I was listening to Q on CBC radio with Jian Ghomeshi yesterday morning while I was working in my studio, feeling anxious and uncertain about what I am doing with my paintings, when I heard him interview Donald Glover, writer, rapper and comic actor. One among many interesting things he said stood out:  You’re not doing anything special unless you’re scared.

Very reassuring:  I must be doing okay.
