Wednesday morning I was up early and noticed the stunning sunrise. I grabbed my camera and went out to try to catch the reflection in the water. I was thinking I could stay there all day, documenting the rise and fall of the sun into the lake. But then I realized I had to be in Halifax by 7:50 am, which gave me a half hour to feed and walk the dog, dress and have breakfast myself. We managed.
