After a long day hanging out in airports because of missing a connecting flight in Newark (because of delays leaving Halifax because of needing to de-ice the plane), I arrived in Memphis Thursday evening, a much warmer climate. The opening reception was Friday evening. It was well attended, well received. And I must say, the people in Memphis lived up to their reputation for Southern hospitality. My entire visit of four days was filled with enjoyable adventures. Lots to see and wonderful people to do things with.
