Last weekend, Lila and I went to Brule on the North Shore to visit with my friend Greta and some of her family. There were eight people and three Portuguese Water Dogs staying for most of the weekend.
We took lots of walks along the beach. The vastness of the water was so different from my lake view. My lake is big, but there is another side, with trees. Not the limitless horizon, fostering endless dreams.
The early morning light gave a purple cast to everything it touched.
I labeled these rocks (in a photo I posted on FB) Mama, Papa and Baby Rock. My friend Mindy said the next rock pic looks like a “handsome grandson!” Cute little bugger, eh!
