And then

It’s not that I don’t have anything to say, haven’t been active, it’s just that there is too much going on to be able to focus into a coherent thought. Mainly, my son Aaron is getting married next Saturday. I’ve been busy making the wedding dress for Joanne. It’s been difficult, a very complicated pattern, but so worth it. Probably the most beautiful dress I’ve ever made. It’s a rich shade of green and will look lovely on her.

Lots of company coming as of tomorrow. Then there is the garden, of course. And painting. I had to order a large supply of paint and it finally came so I am back at it after a couple of weeks hiatus. I’m planning an exhibit at St. Francis Xavier in Antigonish in November. It’s going to have all red paintings. But I had, naturally, run out of the red I wanted to use. And cadmium reds just can’t be mixed.

I’m having photos taken a week after the wedding so I have a deadline. Plus there is drying time. I may very soon have all the work done for the November exhibit . That would be a change.
